Franklin C. Butterscotch - Time Traveller

Here's a character and backstory I whipped up for the Artpg (art roleplaying game) over on the apedogs forum:

Born in England in the year 1785, young Franklin C. Butterscotch led a somewhat normal life. As a wee lad Franklin enjoyed bird watching, collecting beetles, and hiking though the wilderness.

However, an unfortunate event soon forced young Franklin to put his hobbies aside and devote himself entirely to the fields of medicine and science. For at the tender age of 14, while trekking through the darkest and most deadly regions of Africa with his father, Sir Reginald Butterscotch, they were attacked by the most ferocious of creatures: The African Lion. It was there that his father was mauled to death before his very eyes, and I'm sure young Franklin would have been next, if it weren't for his cunning skill, swift feet and lightning reflexes. After killing the lion and spending three months lost in the jungle, a mature Franklin C Butterscotch emerged. He vowed to never let another precious life be taken.

Years of medical school had passed. Stories of his devotion to the field of medicine and science spread throughout the land and soon our very own Franklin became Royal Physician to Queen Victoria. It was during one of his visits with the Queen that Franklin discovered a mysterious purpleish glow eminating from his medical bag. He approached the bag with caution, unable to comprehend what was happening before him. Unbeknownst to him howerver was the fact that a wormhole, one of the universe's rarest mysteries, had formed inside it. He forced the bag wide open, and was immedietly warped inside, travelling through the cosmos to a time he did not know, leaving behind his beloved wife Anne, his Queen, and his country.

Though his jumps through the fabric of time are random, he hopes to someday master the wormhole and return to his loving wife Anne in the year 1840. And so, Sir Franklin C. Butterscotch finds himself leaping from past to future, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap, will be the leap home....
